chichenois began in Xianyou, Fujian — a county where craft still happens at the bench rather than in the display case. Silver has been worked here for generations; we are a small studio inside that lineage, not a brand that borrowed its vocabulary.

初见 is the feeling of a first meeting. 笙 is a mouth organ of many pipes that only makes music when they sound together. Put together: a brand about first meetings, and about things that hold together quietly over time.

We make three things. Silver to wear — pendants, chains, bangles, rings. Silver for the table — caddies, spoons, trays. And incense, because a room needs a different kind of time than a wrist does.
